Nicolas ne cache pas son admiration pour le grand chorégraphe suédois Mats EK.Moi non plus.
Chaque geste créé par Mats Ek fait sens. Tout est juste, fort, inspiré. Ancrés dans le sol ou tendus vers le vaste monde, ses ballets nous ramènent à l'essentiel : le genre humain. Avec toute sa force fragile, et toutes ses zones d'ombres.
Avoir la chance d'observer Mats Ek au travail - et les danseurs qui le servent avec un talent proche de la dévotion - a été l'une des expériences les plus troublantes que j'ai connues.
Il en reste, comme toujours, quelques images.

Nicolas has always been very clear about the Swedish choreographer Mats Ek, about how much he admires him.
So do I.
Every gesture created by Mats Ek is highly significant. Everything is accurate, strong, inspired. Anchored in the earth or stretched towards the wide world, his creations bring us back to the essence : human being. With his fragile srength, and all his dark sides.
Being lucky enough to observe Mats Ek at work - with these dancers who serve him with an incredible talent and full dedication - has been of of the most amazing experience I ever had.
